Introduction
TakeOff is a collaborative app that helps young adults organize group trips. It centralizes everyone's preferences, facilitates collective decision-making, and turns confirmed choices into a shared itinerary.
01 — The problem
Our research and interviews have shown that organizing a group trip often becomes fragmented across WhatsApp, links, notes, and multiple browser tabs. Proposals pile up, decisions get lost, and the organizer often ends up shouldering the entire coordination burden alone.
02 — insights
Decisions are not visible
Participants share their wishes in various places without a clear idea of what has been accepted, rejected, or remains to be discussed.
Solution: centralize votes and display the group's progress on a shared dashboard.

02 — insights
The group must reach an agreement before planning
A detailed itinerary is only valuable once the group's main preferences—activities, pace, budget, and type of trip—are aligned.
Solution: start by gathering each participant's preferences before proposing a schedule.

03 — Solution
The initial poll allows everyone to express their preferences. The swipe feature makes evaluating activities quick and simple. Then, the dashboard enables the group to view shared preferences, pending choices, and confirmed decisions.
An AI then generates an initial itinerary proposal based on the group's choices, the weather, location, and time constraints. The group retains the ability to modify the schedule.
04 — Result
Our research and interviews have shown that organizing a group trip often becomes fragmented across WhatsApp, links, notes, and multiple browser tabs. Proposals pile up, decisions get lost, and the organizer often ends up shouldering the entire coordination burden alone.
